Interactive Whiteboard Resources for Science

This pack introduces pupils to rocks as an everyday material. It covers the formation of metamorphic, sedimentary and igneous rocks, the properties of these rocks, key vocabulary and the use of stone as a building material.
 

This pack contains:

three interactive whiteboard activities
reference material and animations
a moon worksheet

BINDER BUDDIES

Organization is always a problem... so we use binders in 4th grade based on these ideas... Thanks to all fellow teachers for the great IDEAS!

Reward box - I have a bucket I keep for my students with no marks... you can create your own rewards.... I laminate these after running on card stock and they get to choose their prize

Student behavior log- My peers and I each have a clipboard with our homeroom students names. It is the job of a different student each week to carry this board from class to class. This is the log found on the clipboard. I keep them filed as document of behavior during class. I have modified the violations through the years. This is my original one. I find it easier to just use numbers and not the letter- numbers you see on this one. Modify and enjoy as you seem fit.

The 10 commandments of my class - I am not sure where this came from- but I modified it and the kids get a kick out of it

5 minute timer - PowerPoint timer

Homework Letter - this form is what I have students fill out when they fail to do or complete an assignment, they address the letter to me and sign their name.

Each year my students have to research a famous immigrant. I have designed a template where they do the research and then type in the answers. They love seeing their own work!

My children have to read a famous speech and then do a life size drawing of the presenter... this is the file I give them... this is one of my favorite activities to see them do.
