Partner In Education

The Partners in Education program has been a "win-win" for both the school and our business.  The faculty and students thrive on having their efforts recognized and rewarded by an outside source.  This relationship builds confidence and leadership skills in the students as they prepare for additional educational opportunities.  Our objective viewpoint is often the sounding board the faculty needs to think through an event that may not be as successful as the overwhelming gift is that of our time, energy and mentoring of the youth.  Sometimes the students just need to hear the same message from a different source.

The benefits to our business have been endless.  The obvious loyalty from parents, teachers and students helps to build market share and breeds good repetitive business.  We desperately need the visibility to attract part-time students needing employment.  The school's participation in and support to us in our community service efforts has been a giant plus.

Schools and businesses partnering are no different than any other relationship; it's growth and success can only be accomplished by having mutual respect, careful planning and diligent work to reach the same goals.  We value the communication, supportive style, and visible opportunities that Alexandria Middle Magnet offers.

We credit the success to the ongoing dialogue that Mrs. Akins, Coordinator, has with us regarding their needs and how we can help.  We look forward to many productive years with Alexandria Middle Magnet.
