Middle Magnet Focus:
The Academic program is based on
an accelerated curriculum for math and science. Through a project-based
interdisciplinary curriculum, students are challenged with accelerated and
enhanced opportunities for inquiry, exploring, and learning. High school
credit in math and science is available for students that participate in the
full three year program.

high school credits (Physical Science, Algebra 1, and Civics)

Each of these courses is 53
minutes daily

full cardiovascular program through the P.E. department

How do we apply for admission
to one of the magnet programs?
1. Visit the magnet school and secure an application.
2. Complete and return the application form to AMMS before April 27,
2009.

Are there academic
requirements to be met before a student can be accepted into a magnet
program?
-To be accepted into AMMS a student must have a 2.5 GPA from the
previous school year.
