ALBERT PERRINE, BAND DIRECTOR

This year the  Ruby-Wise 6th grade band class consists of 21 students on a variety of wind and percussion instruments.

The fifth grade recorder classes meet two times a week and the goals for this class are:

        1.  The student will be able to name the four main families of instruments.

        2.  The student will be able to identify the instruments in the orchestra.

        3.  The student will learn to read music and perform simple songs on the recorder.

        4.  The student will learn self-control, self-motivation and cooperation with others. 

Both groups of students will perform a public concert in the spring.
