* Medlineplus: Attention Deficit Disorder - Hosted by the U.S. National Library of  Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, this Web site presents a broad array of information on the disorder that is gathered from a variety of sources.

      Misunderstood Minds . Attention Responses | PBS - This helpful page of strategies for attention problems comes from the companion guide to a PBS special on learning differences and disabilities. The program was called Misunderstood Minds, and it focused on the work of Dr. Mel Levine, All Kinds of Minds.

* National Attention Deficit Disorder Association - There is a wealth of reliable information here for professionals, parents and ADHD students. Diagnosis, research, treatment, and self-management are covered.
* National Resource Center on AD/HD - According to the press release, this is "the  country's first and only national clearinghouse dedicated to the evidence-based science and treatment of AD/HD." The Web site is operated by CHADD and funded primarily by the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The site offers an abundance of sound information on diagnosis and treatment.
* NICHQ ADHD Practitioners' Toolkit - This is a "toolkit" for physicians to use when implementing the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines for treating ADHD. This includes the Vanderbilt Assessment Scales and a variety of useful parent handouts.
* NIMH Article on ADHD - good pamphlet on symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. Helpful for parents.
* Pediatric Neurological Associates - Check out the free online book. The book emphasizes current executive function research as the key to understanding and treatment. It summarizes treatment advice; and includes chapters for parents, teachers, and kids.
